Let's make a plan!

by Usa Pratanasup on February 09, 2010

I love to make a plan, whether big or small… I need one!

Every week, I have to ask my hubby “What is the plan?” Valentine’s Day is coming up in like a blink of an eye… I love the feel of it. The special warmth of love, the vibrant red, and architecture of a rose. The depth of color and the many layers of beauty that so marvelously echo a great relationship, the very nature of mutual and deep friendship. Everyone celebrates this beautiful day, so I know that I am not alone in my reveling of February 14th and all that it brings.

I have not done much in the recent past, at least not after the arrival of our little 4-year old son. But definitely this year. This year will be completely different! I have a Valentine’s plan. A road map to do something fun by setting a sexy Valentine’s Day mood. It begins with a deliciously big bunch of red roses strewn around the wonderful warmth of the hot tub and romantically lit with many SOY candles scattered here and there. Yeah! I have been very busy making the soy candles since I came up with the plan, making oodles of them on an almost daily basis. LOVE it! The aromas are so exciting, especially when I use different varieties of strong essential oils.

After making so many of these wonderful soy candles… Well I have to sell them too. I really hate to part with all of this love-in-a-jar, but I am going to have to. So it will begin with a great event. My romantic and heavenly scented soy candles will enter the market at Mardi Gras in Nevada City, California. If you live in northern of California and have yet experienced the California Mardi Gras, this is definitely a place to must visit. I fell in love with this city when my husband tried to answer me with my planning question. What is the plan? Well, we ended up in Nevada City for their Victorian Christmas event last year. This year? My soy candle LOVE makes its debut at the Mardi Gras! Sometimes, the plan gets better if you go on an adventure!

For more info about the fabulous Mardi Gras event at Nevada City, visit this site: http://www.nevadacitychamber.com/blog/2010/01/07/mardi-gras-celebration-in-historic-nevada-city.

If you are there, you must stop at my booth to say hello… And also to check out our great soycandles.

Cheers!
